Enjoy a fun 3-hour cruise for up to 16 of your family and friends with proprietors Jackie & Jeff Mincheff and ICFC founders Michele Abrams & Jeff Christensen. Delicious appetizers, adult and non-alcoholic beverages are provided.

This stunning 1943 fully renovated Tugboat is 85 feet in length and cruises at 10 knots.

The Tug Chippewa's legacy stretches back to 1943, when she was first brought into existence by the skilled hands of the Puget Sound Bridge & Drydock Company in Seattle, WA. Originally commissioned as the YTL-361 for the US Navy, this vessel began her journey as a yard tug equipped with a WA Iron Works engine. With the passage of time, she transitioned through various identities and owners, each chapter adding to her rich tapestry.

With a length of 85 feet, a hull depth of 10.5 feet, and a breadth of 22 feet, you can see the craftsmanship of her creators at Puget Sound Bridge & Drydock. Her wood construction brings one back to an era when vessels were handcrafted, and her journey across different names and roles reflects the ebb and flow of the tides in Puget Sound.

At the helm of the Tug Chippewa's current voyage is Jeff Mincheff, owner of J Squared Investments, a passionate maritime enthusiast. With a deep appreciation for the vessel's history and significance, Jeff took ownership in 2022. Under his guidance, the Chippewa will continue to sail the waters of Puget Sound as a living connection to the maritime heritage that defines this region.

The boat can sail out of Seattle or Tacoma.
